En Ti (In You) I wanted to write a song in Spanish as my father was Cuban. It’s sung once in Spanish and once in English.

A collection of five well-loved Christmas carols specially arranged for this CD project with the voices of her students joining her with harmonies on three tracks. Peggy's current child lives in the Dominican Republic. Although a photo is not allowed to be shared, she can share that her child is now 18 years old, enjoys art, dancing, & she is quite tall for her age! Debuting at the House of Blues San Diego, Peggy Mira’s Christmas original, “This Was the One” is for all those who enjoy the story of Christ at Christmastime. Add this memorable song to your holiday collection of favorites!

Debuting at the House of Blues San Diego in 2014, Peggy Mira’s Christmas original, “This Was the One” is now available online. Those who enjoy the story of Christ at Christmastime and the warmth of holiday classics such as “Silent Night” and “The Christmas Song” will enjoy this rendition of the Christmas story.

Peggy enlisted the arranging expertise of jazz guitarist, Peter Spraque to help shape this memorable rendition of Christ’s story in song. “The joy with which this arrangement was created comes through in the performance of the musicians and I’m looking forward to singing it alongside the arrangements on my “Christmas Songs” CD this year.”

Note: The original performance was under the song’s original title of “Bring Them Home”. It was a part of the San Diego Songwriter’s Group holiday party and can be found on You Tube.

Recorded during Studio 770’s Live Jazz Open Mike, Peggy’s rendition of “O Come All Ye Faithful” received immediate praise for its arrangement of the well-known melody and lyric. “I wanted to have a familiar carol to accompany the release of “This Was the One”. I chose “O Come All Ye Faithful” and then sat down to see what would come out as I played without thought. A variation on the melody with minor tones and notes evolved. The musicians filled it all in nicely enhancing the beauty of this timeless carol."
